Zeina obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 1995. In 2007, she graduated from Kine Concept Institute in Ottawa with a diploma in Massage Therapy. Zeina is a Registered Massage Therapist and became a member of the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario in 2007.
It was at Kine Concept that Zeina’s fascination with the effects of gravity and posture on the body’s soft tissue began. Drawn to the work of Ida Rolf and her development of The Rolf Method of Structural Integration, Zeina continued her education at the Guild for Structural Integration in both Boulder, Colorado and Kauai, Hawaii, under the Rolfer, Emmett Hutchins, Dr. Ida Rolf’s first appointed teacher.
She became certified as a Rolf Structural Integration Practitioner, in 2008. Zeina is a member of the Guild for Structural Integration Practitioners as well as the International Association of Structural Integrators.
Zeina believes that in order to help clients achieve their goals, therapy requires a joint effort between therapist and client. Home care is customized and stretching and strengthening exercises are designed to facilitate and expedite healing, increase flexibility and optimize performance.
When not at work, Zeina enjoys practicing yoga, dancing, running, camping and spending time with her family.
