Research: Acupuncture relieves Migraines

This recent article by Eposh Times discusses research using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to better understand how acupuncture works at treating migraine headaches.

The researchers were able to point out some of the mechanisms that make acupuncture such an effective treatment for this condition.

“The MRI results demonstrate that acupuncture decreases the frequency and duration of migraine attacks by increasing functional connectivity in the brain’s frontal and temporal lobes.”
